Einstein's theories are pure nonsense. They depend upon the constancy of
the speed of light, which is wrong. Light speed actually varies with the
speed of the emitter. Then the optical effect of refraction was abused to
make it appear that the Sun bent the light from the stars. His theories
led to the concept of a finite but expanding universe. Now Hubble and Webb
telescopes show an infinite universe, with distant galaxies NOT moving
away at high speeds but going in all directions.

Yeah it was sort of figured that they wear out too quickly,
because the armature vaporizes, while coilguns are pretty
much contact-less, so that the mass drivers or coilguns
have a longer mean-time-between-replacement.

These days there's been a lot more research in theory of
electromagnetic-gun-launch-to-space, what with that
the "space elevator" sort of disagreed with Coriolis.

Traditional techniques included the consideration of
just a plain old gunpowder-cannon, straight to space.

The idea of electromagnetic-gun-launch-to-space
has various economies of scale and re-usability.

My original intention was to make reactionless motors with it. But it
could launch satellites in space, used for horizontal drilling and of
course be used as the most powerful gun ever launching missiles at
