Surgery only goes so far in repairing it. Might even make it worse. The

Gym's camera must've included much larger angle of view; so for some
reason they tried not to show his lower body. Did he defecate in his
pants? There was a defecation sound in the clip I think.

Well, at least he could breathe afterwards, so the neck wasn't broken.
