action will inspire our community to embark on an open assessment of
the role of fossil fuel companies in the Earth sciences.
For decades now, climate scientists have been quietly reporting
astonishing findings about the causes and consequences of
anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions on the life-sustaining systems
of the Earth. Some have even taken their findings directly to the
public and to legislators at venues ranging from town hall meetings
to Senate committee hearings to international political summits. And
what has this tremendous effort achieved? In terms of meaningful
large-scale policies resulting in reduced greenhouse gas emissions,
not nearly enough.
While scientists and science communicators have been hard at work
generating factual information and attempting to share it with the

6) That air with gaseous phase water in it is heavier than dry air,
except you forget that science has long known about molar mass and
molar volume...

7) That a sentient plasmic "tornado in the sky" jet stream exists,
which can extend its tendrils hundreds upon hundreds of miles through
the atmosphere to touch down and generate tornadoes, that it has
sentience allowing it to avoid detection, to avoid aircraft, to avoid
touching down its tendrils from clear blue sky, to avoid all clouds
except cumulonimbus, to touch down only at the rear portion of a
cumulonimbus cloud, to somehow know the temperature of the ground or
water beneath the nascent funnel and avoid creating a tornado if the
ground or water is cooler than the air... a Flying Spaghetti Monster

touch down so they always hit clouds, rather than tornadoes randomly

Heat causes gases to expand, increasing pressure. This has been long established through easily reproducible experiments. As for the jet stream, look up "NWS Jet Stream", also found under "jet stream meteorology".

Not related to the jet stream. Tornadoes form in stor supercells, which result from the combination of large high pressure masses (hot air) combining with large low pressure masses (cold air).

Where we differ is that I think the greenhouse effect does exist. However, it's smaller than current theory says it is, and CO2 makes little difference to it, due to the latent heat transfer and convective processes at work.
