With Mozilla disabling my two-year-old extensions,
and no replacements in sight, I had to (re)write 4 extensions,
to make them work properly for me.

To create extensions, you need "Node.JS";
and you can't install them on anything but
the "Developer" addition of "Quantum" Firefox.

"Quantum" is a euphemism for (random) "bullshit".

On the on the bright side,
I'm getting good at writing extensions.

I'm getting good at writing extensions.
<thumbs up>
Thanks, I'm glad someone appreciates it.

Sometimes, it's so easy/fun for me, I tend to it
like a woman knitting in front of a soap opera.

Besides the JavaScript extensions, I "inspect" and modify
"userChrome.CSS" ( Firefox's toolbars, bookmarks, etc. ),
and "userContent.CSS" ( site-specific CSS including:

url(moz-extension://b5cbc727-0b97-4487-8c76-0aa0fb99f1b7/ui/popup.html)
url(about:addons) url(about:preferences) )

To create extensions, you need "Node.JS";
It helps ;)
Oops, you got me; I was wrong.

" Zip -r ..\***@Relf.XPI * " works almost as well as
Node.JS' " web-ext build "; I just wanted to see
if there might be some other "magic" to it
( it spits warnings|errors, like a compiler ).

you can't install extensions on anything but
the "Developer" edition of "Quantum" Firefox.
When did that happen?
Two years ago, 2017, with "quantum" Firefox 57;
to run on the normal edition, it must pass review.

Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

I'm actually quite happy with the current version of Firefox,
even though they forced me to rewrite my extensions;
it's time-consuming, but fun.

How many have you written?
I copied three extensions, from others,
and turned them into four, modified.

One of my extensions calls my X.EXE "console",
to download videos, thus replacing "4kvideodownloader.EXE"
and "YouTube-DL-GUI.EXE"; mine works better and is more convenient.

Another one makes left-click open links in a new tab;
and it lets me blacklist certain domains, so they don't get modified.

Thanks to JavaScript, different (sub)domains act differently;
"News.Google.COM", "Groups.Google.COM", "Google.COM", "YouTube.COM",
and "VoIP.MS" all work differently, requiring different code.

This is why TabMixPlus hasn't been released yet,
two years after Mozilla stomped on it; I gave the author 20$,
because he's willing to wrestle with the Mozilla morons,
asking for permission to write decent code.

One of my extensions makes it easy to open a page|link
in Google Chrome ( in case one of my hacks goes wrong ).

Also, I cleaned-up NoScript's PopUp, so it's easier to use; to wit:

You need to bail out of Seattle. As long as a socialist is running
Seattle, it will always be a 3rd world rated city. That's why San
Francisco is a total shit-hole. Run by the same ilk.

You may have to do some serious research on line.
At least you won't get stung.

But Seattle, from what I've seen so far, is still going downhill.
It will then depend on what you can tolerate and what the last straw on
the camel's back will make you move.

Neti pot nightmare: BRAIN-EATING amoebas from tap water attack elderly
woman

A woman who met a tragic fate after routinely rinsing out her sinuses
is thought to have died because she put tap water in her neti pot. That
tap water was filled with tiny amoebas that ate away at her brain cells.

The 69-year-old *Seattle* woman stumped doctors earlier this year, when
she was admitted to hospital after suffering a seizure. After examining
a CT scan taken of her brain, physicians thought she had a tumor. She
entered surgery the next day.

However, an examination of tissue taken from her brain during surgery
showed that her problem wasn't a tumor at all. It was microscopic
amoebas that were feasting on her brain.

“There were these amoebae all over the place just eating brain cells. We
didn’t have any clue what was going on, but when we got the actual
tissue we could see it was the amoebae,” Dr. Charles Cobbs, a
neurosurgeon at Swedish Medical Center, told the Seattle Times.

Despite the surgeons' best efforts, the woman died a month later. Now a
case study recently published in the International Journal of Infectious
Diseases has shed light on how the amoeba entered her brain. The study
was authored by Cobbs and others who worked on the woman's case.

Way more likely as brain-eating amoebas
can't eat a brain that is non-existent.

Yep. Outlawing liquor in the 20's was done for the profit of big oil.
That way farmers couldn't make his own alcohol to fuel his tractors with.
